Aura Garrido is a Spanish film and television actress. She was in movies such as Stockholm and in the TV series El Ministerio Del Tiempo. Garrido born in Madrid 1989, is a painter and composer. Garrido's father Tomas Garrido is a composer and orchestra conductor, and the mother of her children, Pilar Sanchez, works as an artist. After taking her first piano class at the age of four, she started to learn ballet. She can speak English thanks to having an English-speaking best friend growing up. She attended the Madrid's Real Escuela Superior DE Arte Dramatico when she completed her studies at high school. In her third year she was studying interpretive and textual aspects of the program. But in 2010 she resigned from the school because she had been cast in Planes para manana. The film was nominated for the Goya Award in the category of"best emerging" actress, and won the Silver Biznaga award for her role.
